The Learning Centre for Hamilton recently signed a five (5) year lease in Hamilton with Moore Sovereign Consistory, for the premises at 148 George St, with an option to renew for a further five years.  This represents a major step forward in the establishment of the Centre. Renovations were completed to provide 10 tutoring rooms for free one-on-one tutoring to children formally identified with dyslexia. Tutoring is done after school hours during the school year.

The Hamilton location is the 9th Learning Centre established under the Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation's Learning Centre program, in its continually expanding network dedicated to helping dyslexic children and will serve children within a two hour driving distance to our location. The other centres are located in Halifax, N.S, Moncton, N.B., London, ON, Barrie, ON, Windsor, ON, Calgary, AB, Edmonton, AB and Vancouver, BC.

Currently we are accepting applications for admission from parents of dyslexic children. These applications can be obtained from our website and should be forwarded with the requested documents to the centre at, or by mail at The Scottish Rite Charitable Foundation Learning Centre for Hamilton, 148 George St., Hamilton, ON L8P 1E5.

Jack graciously donated the old bill back to the Learning Centre to be framed and hung in the Centre.
